Where I Came From is an 8-painting journey to self-love. Love is a process. It consists of letting go; acknowledging ones self; & then committing to the continuous cycle of observation, healing, acknowledgment, rebuilding & acceptance.

These paintings are meant to be viewed sequentially; however they can be enjoyed out of order and as stand-alone pieces. Each piece is connected to a song which captured a moment in my life between 2019 and 2022.

From the first brushstroke until the very last the same song was played allowing the imagery and colours to stay true to my feelings & connection to the song.
