About the Recipe
This can be enjoyed as a dessert or as a snack during that afternoon dip in energy.

Ingredients
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey (or vegan syrup of choice)
1 tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup ground flaxseed meal
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
2 oz dark chocolate
Coarse sea salt (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Add all of the ingredients up until the dark chocolate to a mixing bowl.
Step 2
Mix together well using a wooden spoon until smooth and cookie dough-like.
Step 3
Transfer to a 9x4-inch loaf pan and spread the mixture evenly until smooth. The loaf pan can be lined with parchment paper if desired.
Step 4
Melt the dark chocolate in a small saucepan over medium heat and pour over the protein mixture. Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, about 30-minutes. Cut into 20 decadent squares and keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy.
